  • Qualifications:

    • LMHC, LICSW, or Ph.D (licensed) required

    • Specialized training, official certification, & relevant experience in Sex Therapy, EMDR, Somatic Therapy, IFS, or Art/Expressive Therapy.

      • (For EMDR Specialization): Certified EMDR Therapist/EMDRIA Certified

      • (For Sex Therapy Specialization) AASECT Certification

    • Have demonstrated clinical experience working with adults, preferably in an outpatient setting; Preference for candidates who are able to work with both individuals & couples. (We will provide free couples therapy training for the right candidate, as appropriate.)

    • Be knowledgeable about working with the LGBTQIA2S+/queer community, especially providing gender affirming care

    • Be dedicated to providing care grounded in cultural humility; drive to empower people from historically marginalized communities (BIPOC, neurodivergent, disabled, etc.)

    • Be familiar with the Health at Every Size philosophy and have a commitment to providing care which is anti-fatphobic

    • Have competency in working with neurodivergent clients

    • Be comfortable providing care via telehealth and have a private space to conduct sessions

    The position:

    • W2 employee

    • Fully remote via telehealth

    • Offers competitive compensation ($100/individual session, $125 for couples session, $125 for 60 minute specialized service session)

      • Incentive bonuses available

    • Allows you to choose which clients you work with, choose how many clients you would like to see (minimum is only 8 weekly), and fully set your own hours/schedule (no mandatory days/times on)

    • Client recruitment/initial screening, overhead, and billing are all managed for you. Telehealth platform, online profile/advertisement, malpractice insurance, electronic medical record service are fully provided.

    • Health insurance stipend available for full-time employees

    • Free attendance to conferences and other professional events geared toward working with the LGBTQIA+ community.

    • Opportunities to earn extra income by providing trainings, consultations, and running groups

    • Free clinical supervision provided by an LMHC
