We have periodic openings for therapists who are fully licensed to practice independently in MA (LMHC or LICSW) as well as passionate and knowledgeable about working with the queer community.

Qualifications:

  • have demonstrated clinical experience working with adolescents and/or adults, preferably in an outpatient setting

  • be knowledgeable about working with the LGBTQIA+/queer community, especially providing gender affirming care

    • knowledge of writing letters for gender affirming surgery is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person

  • be dedicated to providing care grounded in self-awareness and seeking to empower people from historically marginalized communities (BIPOC, neurodivergent, disabled, etc.)

  • be familiar with the Health at Every Size philosophy and have a commitment to providing care which is anti-fatphobic

  • have competency in working with neurodivergent clients

  • be comfortable providing care via telehealth and have a private space to conduct sessions

  • Experience working with adolescents and couples is highly desired but not mandatory.

  • Certification in modalities such as EMDR, IFS, brainspotting, etc. desirable but not required.

  • Applicants from historically marginalized communities and with lived experience are strongly encouraged to apply!

    The position:

  • W2 employee

  • fully remote via telehealth

  • offers competitive compensation ($100 - $125 per session)

  • allows you to choose which clients you work with, choose how many clients you would like to see (minimum is only 6 weekly), and fully set your own hours/schedule (no mandatory days/times on)

  • Client recruitment/initial screening, overhead, and billing are all managed for you. Telehealth platform, online profile/advertisement, malpractice insurance, electronic medical record service are fully provided.

  • Health insurance stipend available for full-time employees

  • Free attendance to conferences and other professional events geared toward working with the LGBTQIA+ community.

  • Opportunities to earn extra income by providing trainings, consultations, and running groups

  • Free clinical supervision provided by an LMHC
