Who We Are

Queer Therapy Boston is made up of a small team of dedicated therapists with a passion for serving the queer community.

At Queer Therapy Boston, we believe:

  • You are the expert when it comes to your own life, story, and needs

  • Trans Rights are Human Rights

  • Black Lives Matter.

  • People can be Healthy at Every Size

  • Neurodivergence deserves to be respected. Not everyone processes, copes, relates, and heals in the same way.

  • Sex work is work

  • When processing trauma, you have the right to go at your own pace, be in control, and be heard.

  • Your life matters. Your feelings matter. You matter.

Therapy services are available for teens and adults via telehealth, statewide across Massachusetts. In order to support equity of access, we are happy to offer gender affirming surgery assessments free of charge.

You deserve to be informed about the care you receive. You are welcome to contact us directly if you have any questions about our values, philosophies, or treatment approaches.

Meet our Clinical Director:
Elly Humphrey LMHC!

She is a proud queer therapist who is excited to provide mental healthcare services to the queer community. (You may have seen her tabling at local queer events!) Elly will be the one to answer your call or email and help you along your process of finding a therapist who is the right fit for you.

Elly holds the firm belief that everyone’s mental health is important and that you deserve to be treated with dignity and respect in seeking care and support for your needs.
